Make Money Using ClickBank - Common Mistakes, And How to Fix Them

Make money using ClickBank... ah, the online dream of so many. Yet, only a few are doing it correctly, and earning the big bucks. Why is it that some are pulling in livings, while other toil away for hours achieving nothing? Oh, and if you have been one of those 'toilers', don't be worried, so long as you are learning from it, it isn't wasted time.

But... if you do want to make money using ClickBank, learning isn't just the only thing you want from your efforts.

You want money! That's why you're doing it! And if you are already, then don't shoot yourself in the foot, follow my three simple tips to avoid the basic mistakes that so many affiliates make.

Mistake One: Not Understanding Your Audience

To market to an audience, knowing who they are isn't going to help much. You have to BE them, THINK like them, BECOME them, and only then are you going to know exactly what the customer is wanting. To help with this, pretend that you have a friend, someone who is in this target market of yours. Write up your website AS IF IT WERE TO THEM, give them advice, tips tricks, INFORMATION. Because, if you can really benefit the potential customer, then they'll trust your recommendations. And then you can drop the 'potential' bit.

Mistake Two: Bad Keywords/Not Enough

To make money using ClickBank, or indeed any affiliate network requires a certain amount of keywords to drive traffic to your website. To do that, you need to have some phrases in your website that search engines will pick up on. To pick a good phrase to dot through your website, again, think like the customer. If you wanted to find out some information about something, what would you enter into Google? Remember, be specific, don't go broad. The keyword 'Make Money' is far to broad. A better keyword might be 'Make money using product x', for example. Then, when you've found a good one, enter it two or three times into your website, but remember not to spam.

Mistake Three: Not Doing Enough

I'm going to stir some anger feelings here. If you're already busting yourself trying to squeeze every possible minute into working on your websites, then well done! Now do some more. To make money using ClickBank requires a LOT of work. Don't stop at one website, make ten, make more! The more you do, and the wider you go, the more effective everything will be. Perhaps don't concentrate too much on getting every site 'perfect', focus on doing as much as you can. If you do that, the money will come, I promise.

And finally, stay inspired! Keep reminding yourself of all the freedom you'll have when you finally start to make money using ClickBank. Write in down, in a future diary entry, and the inspiration will be there.
